How DummyInbox works, who can read an inbox, and what happens to messages.
A free temporary email service. You open an inbox at an address you choose or one we generate, use that address anywhere, and read incoming messages here. It receives mail only; it cannot send.
No. There is no registration, password, or phone verification. Open an inbox and it is ready.
Anyone who knows the address can open the inbox. Use a random name for anything you would not want someone else to find, and do not use DummyInbox for accounts that matter to you.
48 hours. After that they are deleted automatically.
Yes. Type a mailbox name and pick a domain, or use the random option. Some names such as admin, support, and postmaster are reserved.
The domain list on the home page shows every domain available right now. All of them behave the same way.
No. DummyInbox is receive-only.
Remote images are blocked until you press Load images. Loading them tells the sender you opened the message and can reveal your IP address.
Yes. Attachments are listed on the Attachments tab and can be downloaded. You can also download the raw message.
Yes. Point verification, notification, and onboarding emails at a DummyInbox address and read them here. The inbox refreshes every ten seconds.
Mail sent to a temporary address never reaches your real inbox, and the address stops mattering after 48 hours.
Yes. Open as many addresses as you need. Each one has its own inbox page.
Yes. Every feature is free, and there is no paid tier.
